Band of Gold is a full service party band playing weddings, parties, community events and club dates.

Band of Gold features male/female vocal, guitars, bass, drums and keyboards.  Horn players can be added upon request.

Band of Gold has a wide repitorie spanning many generations of popular music.  Something

Message from BOG Music

Winter 2023

Hi folks!

Making some minor changes here at B.O.G. Music.

For the past  10 years, we've run two acts. Of course there's Band of Gold still chugging away after 39 years, and our restaurant friendly act Esprit Lounge Combo.  

For much of the past decade these two acts featured different personnel and a radically different song list and presentation.

In the past two years the two acts have melded into each other both in lineup and musical choices. We have had many instances of folks coming up to us at a restaurant and saying,  "aren't you band of Gold?" Or, "What are you calling yourselves tonight?".

We have made the decision to consolidate and work under one name.  We are retiring the Esprit Lounge name. All future gigs will be booked as Band of Gold, and on our Facebook posts we will make a distinction of what type of show we will be playing on any given night or venue.

We are currently

booking for the 2023  season.  Grappa '72 in Albany  given us our dates for the year and we have summertime concerts on the books.  We continue to book both public and private pay work and remain proud members of the American Federation of Musicians Local #14 in Albany.
