Band of Gold is a hidden gem. The band leader, Tony Schettino, was very responsive, and we spoke and exchanged several e-mails. He was always very prompt. They offered to learn new songs for the wedding. The band was a great value and all the musicians sounded really good. We received a lot of compliments on the band. I would highly recommend them.

Wow! Did we luck out finding these guys! I searched high and low for a band to play for a ceremony and cocktail hour that wasn't a harpist or a violin with no luck. In my last attempt I put an ad on craigslist and Tony found me. I couldn't be more pleased with our choice. Not wanting to do the traditional wedding march, I sent Tony a bunch of samples from youtube for the songs I wanted for the ceremony (think the Beatles, here comes the sun) and he nailed it! The music was beautiful and just our style. he had the cocktail hour rocking and did a great job of listening to exactly the type of sound we wanted and delivered. He was extremely responsive and prepared to set up at our venue as it was an outdoor venue he had never played at before. He was also extremely accommodating meeting our needs saying her could provide as many or as few musicians as we needed. If you are looking for a great (not cheesy) wedding band; these guys will deliver.

Hi Tony,
First off you guys were great, awesome, everyone loved the band, the energy, the songs the cowbell and tambourine. Right from the cocktail hour on you guys took control and set the tone for exactly what we wanted. Perfect!! We will definitely pass along our great rock and roll experience to others, and hope to see you in the Albany area soon. We have been getting a ton of compliements on how great you guys were. . . Band of Gold, defintely exceeding our expectations!

I have finally come down from floating on air and wanted to piggyback on Eli's thank you! We truly could not have done this event without you. When we originally came up with the unconventional idea of a Drive-In wedding, the sound system/musical options was a section that we knew could get tricky to understand, especially trying to plan it from across the country. You immediately swooped in to save the day and we feel infinitely lucky to have found you. The music, guidance, safety, and expertise that you brought to the day were truly above and beyond. Your band will forever be one of the fondest memories of our wedding day!
